not too sure, first one seems ok - but off balance (maybe wrong phrase), second one looks like she's out of focus to me (could be the diffuse glow effect)

will come back to it later and have another look, matbe I'm just tired, been on building sites since 07:30 this morning

Thanks Dave, I'm doing a lot of experimenting at the moment and I used a glamour filter in the second one.

This is one without that filter.

I think I understand what you mean in the first one, deep shadows maybe, making her eyes appear a bit too deep set?

And while I am still experimenting,..

also have to admit to liking the unadulterated version of the image before the filter effect 9 unless it can be toned down a bit - maybe

Thanks Dave, one of the reasons I am not hugely keen on one shot filters is that I don't really know what they are doing, so like to find other ways to get the effects, that I can control. Ve need to find ze uzzer vays to make ze manipulations, ya? Laughing

i never like the pics that keith puts up here of me, he has some that are alot better, not refering to how i think i look but to the quallity of the photo in general, lighting, sharpness etc.
