Jan,

How about you put down a list of objectives for the picture - we might be able to help you in achieving them Smile

I was looking to copy a flower to another coloured background. I wanted to get a porcelin look to it as well. I have seen that in a few photos and it looked nice. If you can help that will be great! I am not giving up yet..lol Thanks!

Getting into the more demanding areas of serious chopping is exactly that, demanding, and it's good to see you going here, and it's like riding a bike, it gets easier and easier as your internal storehouse of information grows and your physical skill with a mouse or tablet increases. But, hell, it's frustrating at first.

If you have Photoshop Elements you might like to try the following for that alabaster look, if not I'll check out PSP.

To get the alabaster look you might try Diffuse glow, on the current image have a look at - Graininess 0, Glow Amount 10, Clear amount 15.

In PSP go to Effects - Photo Effects - Infrared Film. and try somewhere around, strength 50, Flare 50, grain 0. Then Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize, Hue 32, Saturation 35. See what you think.
