and the East Somerset Railway. I had a stroll through all the engine sheds and sidings today, big kiddie paradise. I had a great time and I also wanted to get some stereo shots. These were shot using what's called the cha cha method, taking the first shot with ones weight to one foot and gently easing across onto the other foot to get the second shot. You have to keep the camera bang on the shooting plane of the first shot, it's tricky and I lose a lot of shots. If you need help viewing stereo shots, go here :- http://www.occasional-lapses.co.uk/viewing.htm

Absolutely love these Keith! Especially since my eyes no longer bump my nose when trying to look at these Smilie_PDT  It's so much easier now that I'm used to looking at stereo photos.

The third one with the bright red ? and fence leading into the photo really pops!

Very nice,
John

Somebody had some fun

Keith - That stereo viewer works but still comes out a little blurred (to folks wondering what I am on about - I have a very lazy right eye which means I cannot do the stereo thing with my eyes, but Keith kindly let me have a viewer which helps me see them better - thanks again Keith.

Many thanks John, glad you enjoyed them, perspectives work particularly well, but there is a certain knack (eye) to getting good perspectives for stereo and I am still hit or miss with them.

Dave, my apologies, I had forgotten about the viewer. The reason they look funny through the viewer is because it requires parallel pictures, that is, the images for the right eye on the right and left, left, whereas the free viewing ones I put up are the reverse of that. I shall remember in future.

Try these:
