Got my daughter to pose at last with our grandson

Using a beauty dish attached to the speedlight (on camera). Bit of diffused glow in ps on this first one.



Second is as it came from camera - beauty dish on speedlight



note to self - do not forget the hairlight next time!!!!

Dave - it looks like you have gotten to grips with the Speedlight accessories.  

I personally am not a fan of the diffused glow on number one, but number two looks the business.  As you already said a hairlight would have given you some separation, but using the available light you had, I think you have pulled out some great work.  You daughters eyes really pop!
