I don't know if this is much of a clue, but think, boys and toys. Or parts thereof.

You're going in the right direction. Probably because I know what it is, I thought people would guess it almost immediately, the angle on the yellow is as it is, dunno if that helps.

Looks a lot like a coil spring (yellow) and damper dust boot on its side from a coilover suspension. If it is, it's nice and clean Laughing

I had a feeling that you would get it instantly. It's off my R/C car.

Nice abstract.

I wasn't entirely sure if the blue was a dust boot or the threaded collar - obvious when viewing the full size image.

It looks just like the Ground Control coilovers I put in my GSX when I upgraded the suspension - except my springs and the threaded height adjustment collar were red Laughing

A friend races RC cars - I'm absolutely amazed at the realistic detail and functionality of those tiny parts!

It's incredibly what they do for these cars, mind you, you pay for it. These alloy suspension units were £70 for four ($140). Yowch! Fortunately, unlike the plastic units they supply with the car, these last forever.
