I don't know why the sky came out pinkish on most of the photos I took on Sunday in Olney. Here are a couple  - anyone tell what I did wrong?

Cheers

first thought is white balance setting. Set to cloudy will give a warmer colour cast to the image. If taken as a RAW file easily sorted in raw editor, not as easy with a jpeg.

Have you tried changing them to monochrome?

This might sound really stupid, but doe sit have anything to do with the volcanic eruptions that are occuring in Alaska right now?

Its been reported that places in the far corners of the US are seeing tints in the sky, due to volcanic dust......  Confused

If this is really unfeasible I'll pretend somebody else suggested it  Smile

yeah i'd be tempted to say white balance too.. it's easily fixed in raw as dave said, but for jpg, just use the colour balance settings

Have you been smoking that tea I sent you? I'd like to blame it on something like that but I think it was down to me.

It was set to cloudy and I did take them in RAW so I will have a try at fixing them in PS.

Thanks for all your suggestions
