Step one - select a colour picture of some poor, unsuspecting human being and open it in the package of your choice.
Duplicate the image in the layers palette and toggle off the new layer and select the background layer. Bring up the Hue/Saturation and Lightness palette. push the saturation right up and select the hue of your choice. It helps to be zoomed in on the eyes as that's all you're interested in for this layer and all that will show in the finished image.
Once you're happy toggle the copied layer back on and select it. Zoom in on the eyes and using a soft eraser carefully erase the eyeballs.
When you think it's about right, toggle off the background image just to make sure there aren't any bits to clean up, if there are, carefully remove them and toggle the background image back on to make sure it all works. Leaving a bit of black from the eyeballs in this case won't affect the image because black doesn't respond to what you've done with the Hue/Saturation and lightness palette.
And that's it, although I chose to convert the foreground image here to B&W.
BEAUTIFUL who is that hunk!!! thanks. _________________ The sun cannot set,

Whoospie, the pictures show the background layer selected where i am talking about erasing, that's cos I did the job and took the screen shots after. The instructions are right, not the pics. _________________
