This was a spur of the moment, opportunistic shot. We'd just lit the barbeque and one of the lads was sitting chatting holding the axe. Too good to miss. It's why I tell people that if you are going to 'do' photography your camera should go everywhere with you even if it's just for your own amusement, or you just happen to belong to the very excellant Mikes Photography Forum.
Nicely shot. Great selective focus and depth of field... althought hat black fingernail is totally grossing me out! I think I'd like this cropped a little tighter, too, and maybe in B&W. (I feel like I'm saying that a lot lately, LOL) _________________ Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought. - Albert Gyorgyi

can only agree with the above _________________ -----------------------------------------------------
I've been thinking about this and did check it in B&W, and wasn't that happy with it, not least because you lose the red, which is what amused me in the first place. _________________
