Thanks Keith. I passed this by maybe ten times before I ever saw it Smilie_PDT

I'm glad I eventually noticed! The colours really pop when it's raining.

Thanks Chris. I see what you mean - that roof line is unique - even for the Adirondacks.

Visually stunning....... Shocked

I wish we had colours like that on this side of the continent. we have too many evergreens, and not enough Maples......

Excellent work John, and proof that Thanksgiving is on its way  Smile

Thanks Dave.
It's amazing what you can miss, even when looking for interesting things to photograph.

Thanks Jon. When I saw this boathouse with the leaves and reflections, I knew it was an almost 'too good to be true' picture waiting to be taken. I guess the reeds and fallen leaves don't bother me much - it's common in shallow waters there, so I guess it adds a sense of place (to me at least).

Thanks Gilly. Having lived here my entire life, it's easy to forget this is not a scene shared by everyone. Every year I look forward to autumn more and more.

Reminds me of the get together we had in the Peak District, Mikes stomping ground, and I was aghast at the sheer magnitude of the photo ops that were just right there in your face, but of course when you live somewhere it doesn't look the same as it does to an outsider.
