A Happy hello from Canada!Hi everyone!
Mike invited me over from 360(Hi Mike!!)and told me of the friendly crowd over here. I like what I've seen so far, however I am probably out of my league here as I see everyone uses really high end equipment and mine is very minimal  ! I have loved photography for as long as I can remember, but it really became a passion after visiting Europe(how could it not?). Now since I've had two children I lean towards portraiture.
With all the knowledge here I'm sure that I will learn alot and I hope that I can perhaps lend an eye here too..I am looking forward

Do not (NOT) apologise for your camera, we all started somewhere, and there are some great pictures taken with modest cameras - even with compacts (especially macros where the depth of field is envied by many super dSLR owners).

Good to have you on board.
It doesn't matter what camera you have from a phone camera to latest and greatest (whatever that is at the time). Everyone is he for the same reason, for the love of photography and to learn and share there knowledge no mater how small with others.
So just jump right in and if you need any help just shout, everyone is friendly and more than willing to help and advise.
Looking forward to seeing some of those Portraits. (started photography when our first daughter was born)
