Aysgarth FallsHad a pootle out to Aysgarth Falls (nr Layburn) today - got scuppered by forgetting my tripod (yes I know) and the sun was in an awkward position, but I think I've seen enough to know a return visit is on the cards
The first 2 are of the middle fall, which took some off-roading to get to - sneaked off the main path and back up the river, and the expedition was worth it i think!
First 3 here are HDR, either 5 or 7 shots

I really like numbers 1 and 3. Mrs D likes number 4. You forgot your tripod! Bet you were mad when you realised.
Whereabouts is Layburn? Looks like a great place.

Well worth the off road trip - have heard a lot about these fall and have never made it to see them.
HDR images are really good - natural looking.
Like them all

I'll kick you too for forgetting your tripod
Great part of the world, and an old stomping ground of mine, when I used to climb a fair bit around the Dales.
You captured the falls very nicely, and the HDR work is sweet (apart from the minor halo around the trees on #1), and natural looking.
Number 3 for the win in my humble opinion.
Well worth the hike Jon!

interesting.........
Do you view with IE or FF? I heard elsewhere that there can be a difference. If my crappy work monitor is off / out of calibration (which is very probably is!!) would I see an imaginary halo?

using firefox (colour management set to on) - and a calibrated monitor
