i've tried to sort the blown water but can't
any suggestions ?

not a lot you can do if the highlights are blown.

May be able to do something if you shot in RAW though.

I'm not sure of the result of this, but for what it's worth, it was achieved by fiddling and faffing. First off I used the magic wand and feathered the selection to take out the blown section behind which I pasted similar water taken at a similar angle of a fall. From then on it was about erasing bits that looked incongruous in the foreground image and using the dodge and burn tools on both the foreground and inset piece, set to a low tolerance, to get something of a realistic blend. It still wasn't looking right so I duplicated the inset piece over the top and set the blend to multiply and erased anything that grated. As I said, these things are usually about fiddling and faffing, but this doesn't look quite right to me but it puts the idea across I hope.

have to admit to having a go but it also wasn't right so deleted my go.
Basically I tried cloning from the area to the right of the highlighted, took a while, thought I was getting somewhere but ......... as always

It's tricky one and I will have another go. The size of the fall wouldn't create the amount of turbulence that I've put in, the front would be fairly still I think. Challenging...
