Chicksands bike parkPopped down to see a mate this weekend to do some riding, and Ruth had the forethought of bringing her camera. We paid Chicksands Bike Park a visit and in-between (horrendously noobish) runs on the 4x track, I borrowed her camera to take a couple of dirt jumpers doing their stuff.
It might be 3 hours drive from home but I'm definitely going to have to go back with my stuff and get some pics - not only is it a goldmine for riding, there's plenty of shots to be had!
Anyhow, these 4 are 4/5 of the shots I squeezed off, Ruth got a few nice ones of other riders; once I've convinced her to do something with them I'll post a link to them

Nice buddy.....
I got mine out last weekend (pictures included, but at home ) for the first time this year - riding the North Shore in snow at the ride start, and dry sunny conditions at the bottom!
70 something days til Whistler opens!!!

Great photos. I especially like the 2nd and 3rd. Looks far too dangerous to me (my age you see)

Great shots Jon, I can see why you're going back with the camera and I note you have some serious competition from Ruth.

Yeah she does well - struggles with the focus a bit more than I do, but I shoot a lot more, plus I play a lot of computer games so my reactions are probably helping too
Glad you like 'em, I thought she had a couple of pearlers in there ;)

Love number 7689. The fear on that little face! Looks like they changed their mind at the top of the hill. Very well captured.
