Cold Walk todayWent for a VERY cold walk today by the local wind turbines. Now I know why they sited them up there - sooo windy and cold.
Took along a friend who's just bought a 450D and is keen to learn how to use it (I was hoping she could show me actually!) I have a 350D so I was interested in comparing the 2. I did like the large LCD view screen. All the text is bigger too which is better as I often struggle to read what mine says. Anyway, here's a few from the walk.

Good work Derek, they're part of the landscape now. Know what you mean about text, even with specs I can't operate mine without very good light. It's incredibly annoying to have to take the camera off the tripod and wander round trying to work out the settings in any sort of light. It drives me nuts.

Definitely a problem solved in later models - the screen on the D300/D700 is massive, and the info button slaps all the key settings up on it

Info button was a great relief when I found it on the D300. Makes hell of a difference.
Back to Dereks Images - lovely shots, not keen on the subject matter though, but as Keith says - they are part of the landscape now and seascape............
