Dinner timeI think this will become my comp entry for work, instead of the earlier effort. Sometimes opportunity just falls into your lap

Thank you, thank you
This one fits the comp rules nicely, since I didn't have to do anything to it except crop, sharpen and a little exposure tweak.
I heard some munching in the tree, and saw this little guy. I had to run in the house, get the camera, and run back out. He was still there, no worries about me running about.
Taken hand-held with the Sigma 'Bigma' at 500mm (1000mm EFL).

Superb, and it's all happening in the thirds, so it's technically great as well as a star of a picture.

Err, hand held with a bigma - you must do some weight training then - seriously though, cannot think of a better image to show off the capabilities of this lens.
Image is spot on sharp, composition is spot on (as Keith says thirds all over the place), exposure is spot on ... am I repeating myself.
Still find it hard to believe that it was hand held, fast shutter speed, high iso must have been on the cards - what were the settings btw.
You must be in with a serious chance of winning with this one John.

The exif data says f6.3, 1/160s at ISO 200. I also used a fill flash.
Thanks Dave, I appreciate the comments.
