The odd thing is that we always look at the world cross eyed other than at infinity, but although you need go no more cross eyed to view them then you would to cut your nails, it's the whole combing the images and looking at the third image that appears that takes the brain a while to sort out. I shall never forget my first time, it was a moment of pure magic and that was the rather boring Super Stereogram, and a long time before I discovered free viewing 3D photographs. 3D photographs are just magic! Laughing

I used to hunt around for that 3rd image. I'd cross the two images over each other, but they'd never truly come together. I'd get a hint of what I should see, but I could never lock on to it.

The change is that I can now lock on to that third image and keep it that way so I can really see and enjoy it. Once locked in, I don't lose it anymore - it's there as long as I want to see it. I have the time to look at all parts of the image and explore the detail.

That's a significant change. And most enjoyable!

It's getting easier - it usually takes less than a second to lock on now.
