Gerbera...I guess...

Hi guys,

I haven't been here for a while...so busy...good to be back...
I shot this a few weeks a go, but I had no time to process. Just did it today. Comments welcome. Thanks.

EF 100mm f/2.8 macro USM @ f/6.3, ISO 100, 1/15s tripod+remote control, mirror lock-up.

hmm.. difficult one.. can't help thinking i'd prefer the centre of the flower to be in focus, but then you'd lose the water drops which are obviously an important part..

i think the problem could be there's no route for the eye to follow through the picture, if you know what i mean, but i'm hardly a macro expert so may be barking up the wrong tree

love it...

Ha Tarzan, good to see you again and with another lovely shot.

Think its down to personal preference on what you like whether the centres in focus or the petals but I think it works great for this shot just having the petals in focus, and the water droplets are a nice touch.

Brilliant , love the colour and the sharpness of the water drops make it work for me.
