Just to say hello to you all and tell you a bit about myself. I'm 54 living in Devon and have just come back to photography after about 18 years. The age of digital, a bit mind blowing but I am looking foreward to learning new things. My main aim for 2007 is to understand what I am doing and take some good shots. Hopfully to set up a web site when I have enough decent shots to veiw. Passion I have but time is a bit limited so we will see. Looking foreward to contributing to the forum when time allows. Glad to be here

Hello,

I'm in virtually the same position as yourself, 53 years young and away from photography for anumber of years. Was a Minolta film user and just upgraded to digital with the Sony Alpha as I can use my old Minolta lenses.
