Local AirshowThis is the Snowbirds - the Canadian version of the Red Arrows:
Canada is celebrating 100 years of powered flight this year, so they painted up a number of 'important' planes in centenial colours, this F18 hornet being one of them:
F16 Viper with afterburners:

I rented a 100-400mm L for the weekend, just to see what its like! Pretty nice, though I shall not be buying one in the immediate!

Well mate, I think those are some of the best you've taken. I love the black and white one and the pre sound barrier one is just fantastic.

great stuff! never heard the f-16 being called a viper before, but googled and right you are - the pilot's nickname for it
