As some of you may know i had a lovely sunny, if a**e numbingly cold, sunday at Santa Pod.
After some serious head ache trying to get the shutter speed and exposure right and deciding to shoot in jpeg for speed, after i missed some shots cos my buffer was full!!, I had a great time.

Here is a selection of some of the finest that was on offer, hope you like.

This thing was fast to say the least

This was running 13's i think, or 101mph

This thing was soooo loud and seriously fast, and to make it more fun,

very nearly flipped it on tire warm up

Comments please, but just so you know i haven't done anything with most of them except a little levels tweak, and all were taken 1/125 f22 ISO 200 on full manual with my sigma 70-300 and D70 and HAND HELD no less.

Cheers guys, it was a good day, relaxed and fairly quiet apart from the engines.
I agree with you Adam, the 5th one is also my favourite, I think it might be because of the orange and also a rather crisp shot, which makes it stand out more. And as for the 8th, there were two running against each other, but due to heads in the way i didn't get a good shot of it, but it was similar and match the other one for speed!!
