Not too sure about this but just found this

seems nikon will be releasing the D90 on 27th August, camera will be the new 10mp i.e. 12+ megas plus live view (completely disagree with video facility however). With new lens 18-105mm.

I absolutely agree about the video facility, it's not the same animal at all as stills shooting in the DSLR market and I can't help thinking that they have made a mistake. Time will tell I suppose, but I wont be going near it. If people are getting serious about their photography, enough to go the DSLR route, then I can't see how video is any kind of hook. Frips and frills don't sell kit in this market, not to me anyway.

The entirely cynical me looks at the D90 and says, 'Welcome to the Muppet zone'. Which doesn't seem a million miles from your attitude the the 50D from Canon, Carl. Wake me up when they get serious. ZZZeds.
