On a trip around "My backyard" today

Very Happy The first shot does it for me but Id like to see more of either side and less of the sky at the top,I do like pano's I just dont think it suite this..

Got to say, I like the vertical pano, great lead in and all that and that's a dramatic shot of the dam. The stuff you are pulling out of the D300 is doing nothing for my spleen mate.

Thanks for the comments - really enjoyed today. Teresa did as well, she sat in the car while I went for a small walk. Am trying to get as many images as I can of the places I get to while she is in the car - get home and print them out so she can see them properly.

The dam was a brilliant place, there was a waterfall that I could not get to, but will try and put up the shot that I did manage of it, but its one where it may look small.

The vertical pano was the only way to get the valley and give an impression of what it was about, given different circumstances and a visit early morning would I am sure give some outstanding images - another place to try and revisit.

Chris - comments are appreciated, but to the left is the road and to the right just grass

this is the waterfall i could not get to



and yes the water was that brown, its really peaty around here
