One I took of the wife but don't tell her I posted!My wife bought me a 550EX flash which she gave to me on our wedding day in March 2005. I couldn't resist having a play. She didn't look too cross about it though.

Ah, another man with a model at home. Nice shot and a good result using a flash unit. They do say that using a dark haired model against a dark background is not ideal, but this one works for me.

I really like the angle of the light on this one. Nice portrait.  Some kind of hair light behind her would have helped pop her out of the background a bit more, obv, but that's beside the point as you were just trying out your new gear. Beautiful model (wife) .

This is a nice shot the lighting is nice and considering it's flash it's not harsh. Nice catch light in her eyes, all in all a good shot.
