i can't help but feel the space on the rhs is serving no purpose - was the space there for a reason (i could quite easily be just not 'getting' it)

I am surprised Jon, people, places and things are not just defined by what they are but by the space, place and time they occupy. I find the picture very harmonious,  a very nice use of the space.

I fully appreciate the use of space in a picture and what it can be used to portray, I just don't think it's doing any of that in this image Smile

Bulbs like that will be a collectors item, one day soon.

Image - too much empty space for my liking, and I would like to have seen the lit up base in the reflection - just me

Wow- you guys really do stay up late (early??).
That's my natural inclination, too- stay up all night, sleep all day... but I have kids, so that doesn't quite work out.

just one of the myriad advantages of senior citizenship, other than failing memory, general sag, aches and pains, which count for nothing against utter and sublime selfishness.  Laughing
