ShowsDo they ever have a photography shows anywhere in the uk? i just fancy going to a big hall where there are all different stalls selling stuff for cameras and thing you can try out before you buy. just be interesting to go and see what gadjets are out there.

you just missed one last weekend
Called
Focus on Imaging
its yearly - so a bit of a wait for the next.
My local camera shop also has their won shows around May time - where they get various manufcaturers to exhibit stuff, some good discounts etc - but they are in North Wales - so may be a bit out of the way.

where would be the best place to find out about shows then? my local jessops? or similar?

I'd pick up a copy of "Amateur Photographer" every so often, as it tends to let you know of these things.
