Some showjumping pics from the weekendI've still to shortlist my cross-country pics, but here is just a small selection of the images from Sunday's showjumping
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonathanhodd/sets/72157619843148592/show/
The images are only 640px so it may well be worth changing the slideshow options so it doesn't stretch them to fit the screen
all images taken with either d300+70-200 (+1.4 tc on most) or d2xs+17-55 on remote (should be obvious which are which :D )

well worth changing size, as when viewd on my screen (24 inch - not boasting) they are well blurred (also know why).
JOn - some absolute great shots - you must be well chuffed with your set up now.

thanks guys
@dave - I'm never happy ;) I want a D700 (especially after using Ruth's, it's lovely) and some longer lenses - I could have had even better shots by using something I could have had the same reach but wider aperture with
Anyone fancy giving me 10k? ;) The D300 makes a better remote camera than the D2Xs, I may actually be retiring the D2Xs for next season and gettnig either a D700 or even another D300, because the 300 is definitely still a fantastic camera (it really is streaks ahead of the D2Xs in everything but water resistance)
@derek - yes the low-down ones worked well I thought.. I didn't have to spend too long setting it up and the weather was kind for the most part. I had to gain permission from the officials to place the camera there, but they were very accomodating, just goes to show what can happen when you ask nicely. Just wish I'd had my D300 down there instead of the D2Xs but I had that one in my hands with the 70-200 on
