Taking a breather

I took this ages ago with my Canon film camera when Sal & I were in the Lake District. These boats were at rest in Keswick and were used to take visitors out on the water.
I used a grad tobacco filter to get a warmer effect.

Love the effect you say "a grad tobacco filter" is that a particular grade?
Gives it a sunlit effect but without the harshness, I like it Very Happy

Hi Venom -
'Grad tobacco' is a graduated tobacco filter. Cokin & Lee do them. It's a burnt brown at the top merging to a clear at the bottom. Generally used for warming up an image.
Check them out at Jessops or on www.7dayshop.com!

A truly wonderful shot Smile

great shot- the only thing that distracts me is that bit of blue string on one of the boats..not quite sure why, for some reason it just kind of sticks out.
