Tokina LensFound a Tokina Wide Angle lens, seems a good price for what you get.What I'm wondering is does anyone know how much wider it will be than the standard "kit" 18-55mm lens on my EOS400D at the moment? I assume the quality will be a bit better too? Cheers, Leo. |

it is not wider, in fact your kit lens is 1mm wider to go wider you will need to be looking at the Tokina 11 - 16 - but I cannot find a price for it yet. Or even the sigma 10-20, but it is a shade more expensive. |

Right, it looks like this lens is optically much much better than my kit 18-55mm, so i'm going ahead to get it, but found a mint 2nd hand one!
Looking forward to shooting with it allready

dave you forgot the tokina 12-24 which is what i have 
it was the tokina i used to get the shots in this thread: http://mikesphotography.myfreeforum.org/about2237.html and was bought from hong kong via ebay for around £280 |
