funny how these things can look so different on different monitors.. looked fine on my laptop but on my pc upstairs (where i'm typing this) it's _way_ over-saturated... i think i'll have to re-upload

'bulb' is basically leaving the shutter open for as long as you require. Its best used with a remote trigger though, as you need to press the shutter button once to start the exposure, and once again to finish it. (that is unless you have super steady hands!!)

Wonderful!! Absolutely beautiful.
So... how do you know how long to leave it exposed for?

I guessed I took a couple of others at different times (longest was just under a minute) but liked this one the most. If I'd have packed my lightmeter I could have used it but decided to leave it at home
That shot was with the button pushed down rather than the remote. Although leaving the lightmeter at home was deliberate, leaving the D70 IR remote wasn't I'm astounded I kept it all so still for so long, my mini tripod did me proud!
