You do It...cause I cant!

I have been working on this photo for months now but I just cant seem to get it right.Usualy I would throw any shots that I cant operate on in the bin but I just cant bring myself to toss this one.

Its a shot of a waterfall so I shot on a dull,overcast day so as not to blow out the highlights.I think the water itself looks fine but the land to either side of the fall is under exposed.

Usualy in these situations I would use layers with a mixture of colour dodge and linear dodge so I did but I just couldnt nail it.

Does any one else want to have a crack at it?..Eh!

you have CS3- so try this,

select the areas you  feel are underexposed, try feathering at around 25 (but you need to experiment - then go layers, new adjustment layer, and choose exposure, play around with the settings.

Chances are you will need to try a few times to get it right

shadow/highlight tool might work, but be gentle with it Smile
