I took this with my old Canon PowerShot A85 so please excuse the amount of yellow in the photo.

Anyway, this is where the photo was taken, if you zoom in you can see the bridge I took it from (circled in red, below) & also the Skytower (again in red!).

Its difficult to get the direction of the photo compared to the map right, but i'm 99% sure its bridge circled in red is the one I took the photo from.

Anyway, comments if any? Smile

Cheers,

Leo.

I've made the pictures smaller to keep within the forum guidelines (650 on longest side).
Love the light streams from the cars, as Dave said great way to show the place off (Google earth).

Awesome picture - I love night shots, especially of cityscapes.

The shot ain't taken from the bridge you have circled though - its taken from the bridge about an inch and a half to the north Smile The road patterns are all wrong otherwise (and the tower seems too close)

I'm a geek, and i'm at work, so have LOTS of time to check out Google earth Very Happy

Great shot Downwards, I love night shooting, it adds an exciting dimension to pictures.

Nice one Gilly, laughed my nuts off. A self confessed geek with too much time on his hands, brilliant!

Cool, thanks for that mate, I've updated the location & re-uploaded a map.

Leo.

If & when I get back to NZ, this will be one of the first places I head back to... Smile
