I reckon you could probably call this a success!



I did do some a little more central than this, but the low sun at the end of the day was too tempting - had to give shooting into it a try Smile

Shot manual, with my D2Xs, Tokina 12-24 @ 12mm (hence the distortion near the edges) on my Slik Mini II tripod and of course the ML-3

thanks gents Smile was quite pleased with some of 'em!

here's one from earlier in the day (sun @ the other side) where the camera was more central to the action



could have really done with more fps, but wanted to shoot at full size rather than high speed crop as I knew i'd need every bit of width the 12mm was giving me

Wow- good going!  That sure worked out well!  I love them both, but especially the first.

Was your tripod just sitting in the middle of the track?

it was sat in the middle of the track, but with its back right up against the fence so wasn't in any danger of getting trampled Smile
