I reckon you could probably call this a success!
I did do some a little more central than this, but the low sun at the end of the day was too tempting - had to give shooting into it a try
Shot manual, with my D2Xs, Tokina 12-24 @ 12mm (hence the distortion near the edges) on my Slik Mini II tripod and of course the ML-3 _________________ There is nothing in life that cannot be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas NPU Member
here's one from earlier in the day (sun @ the other side) where the camera was more central to the action
could have really done with more fps, but wanted to shoot at full size rather than high speed crop as I knew i'd need every bit of width the 12mm was giving me _________________ There is nothing in life that cannot be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas NPU Member
Wow- good going! That sure worked out well! I love them both, but especially the first.
Was your tripod just sitting in the middle of the track? _________________ Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought. - Albert Gyorgyi
it was sat in the middle of the track, but with its back right up against the fence so wasn't in any danger of getting trampled _________________ There is nothing in life that cannot be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas NPU Member
