wonderful colours, but I find the cables (I presume) accross the top a little distracting

I love the top one - what would be the easiest way to remove the cables? I've tried doing that with a couple of my shots but using ACDSee software and it's not that great.

When cables cut across so much detail I know of no way other than painstakingly zoom in tight and clone, there's no substitute for time and attention to detail.

This article is how we do it for the movies. But, we have several frames to play with.

I shall go through that later, thanks for posting it. Some of the jargon defeats me as I've never come across it before.  I often use patching when I can get a clean shot and know I am going to need it. Of course the problems you face in film, like boiling, doesn't apply to stills, so I guess we have more leeway as long as the finished result is believable.

For still work the big issue is congruence, which what believability is about. Making sure any work done doesn't poke you in the eye. Nothing there that shouldn't be there and everything there hanging together.

I don't think the prisoners would like it if i had those cables cut down. lol. wouldn't be able to watch movies or play on their playstation 3s. lol
