Thought I'd start a ROOM 101 thread, where you can throw anything photography related that gets on your nerves into:

I'd like to put posts about 'Which is better - Canon or Nikon' into ROOM 101 Very Happy

Heard a classic quote at the weekend - one photographer slagging off digital in relation to film, another pro photographer (who does use digital) replied "yeah, they said the same about television" :D

That'll be right along with personal computers, the automobile and talkie movies then. Love it.

Rude professionals that aren't willing to share there wealth of knowledge and experience with young, or old, up and coming photographers who could sometimes do with a gentle nudge in the right direction.

Just remember, you were clueless once!!

grrrr...

MAC vs PC

Your tools are what you choose, it's not wrong to use what is comfortable for you.

I have just deleted a comment on one of Leah's pictures where she's holding a gun.

It went, 'grip that weapon baby, go on rub it a little, ha ha'

I've noticed there are a lot of faceless, photo-less trolls on flickr who just trawl for pics they can perv over.  Well, fair play, it's a big ol' diverse world out there. But there is a limit to how facile and juvenile a comment I'll allow to remain. Yeesh.

I've been thinking about blocking people who do not have a photostream and no information on their profile, basically anyone who is a troll. I haven't made the final decision yet.

Yes trolls not allowed.  But please dont block nice fairies like me - lol.
On a slightly different note I get annoyed at faceless people who put cartoons or film star photos instead of their own photos on Facebook's Social Me and then have the cheek to criticise me for my appearance!

I would like to send ACDSee pro to room 101 - I'm fed up of the crashes and i wish I could afford photoshop cs3 and then the time to learn how to use it!
