Blue and gold - one of my favourite combinations! A very nice shot with great colour and tones!
Do you have photoshop or paintshop pro (or another photo manipulation program)? I think if you darkened and maybe blurred the bright upper right corner, it would strengthen the composition and put even more focus on the lit candles. A careful boost in the 'yellows 2' channel saturation could really make this pop.
To take this in another direction, an interesting composition could come from closely cropping to include just the first four candles (with their flames) and use the clone stamp tool to eliminate all other distractions. Or maybe just the first three, depending on the amount of negative space that's left in the upper right corner from the crop.
Lots of good stuff going on here, with lots of possibilities
Evolution104!Thanks for the detailed advice.That is a rare thing on forums these days so again thanks I will defonatley try these various edits.I have photoshop cs3 but its a demo and runs out soon so Ill try it in GIMP.Its actualy good software and whats more its free!
