My OH did the washing today... he stuffed my fleece in the wash but didn't check the pockets!! Yup... not just one, but TWO xD cards were given the full treatment. I've not tried them out yet, but keeping fingers crossed (or is that Xd) that they will work ok. _________________ My Flickr Pics

Ouch, and congrats, so glad they came through.
1st rule of washing, don't mix coloureds and whites
2nd rule of washing, check anything with pockets

I think you were lucky they were xD cards - no openings like a CF card!
Glad you salvaged them - xD cards are small
In the future - to clean the images from these cards, it's always preferable to format them - not wash them!
