A couple of HDR shots from a recent, but sadly brief, visit to the North East.







#2 & #3 are infact the same image, just different processing results. I like the way #3 has an almost sillhouette of the castle, yet I prefer the foreground interest in #2.

#2 to me is more realistic (and much nicer) than #3.

You need to tweak your micro smoothing on #1 too- that halo surrounding the castle is far too strong ;-)

#3 is best of the bunch for me as it's more realistic which is the hdr treatment I prefer, but realise others want the extra colour).

#1 - as Jon said, the halo is really off putting for me
