yeah you can tell it's just tonemapped rather than hdr but not bad all the same _________________ There is nothing in life that cannot be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas NPU Member
Anybody notice the large black 'cat' on the left of the shot? It was pointed out to be over the weekend, and now its all I can see when I revisit the shot _________________ Bring on the snow, for I feel the need to ride.....
Yes I see it now,How did you avoid getting super noise in the blue sky.In my outdoor HDR shots I seem to get a really noisey sky no matter how much I try if there are no clouds that is. _________________ My oppinion is just my oppinion, nothing more
If you have some form of noise reduction software like noise ninja, use it before merging to hdr.
Tonemapping brings out the worst in noise so try to minimise it before you start.
I know everyone barks on about using raw for hdr but I never had any advantage from it and at least when shooting jpg there is some in-camera noise reduction going on. I have a 3 foot hdr on a canvas on my wall and i'll defy anyone to proove it's jpg ;) _________________ There is nothing in life that cannot be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas NPU Member
I just had this shot printed up at 18 x 12, and the colours in print are even better than the on screen version.......
As for noise - I shot this in RAW (but only once, and then took 7 exposures from it) but put the shot through some noise reduction software. Can't recall which one though
