very good. what lenses did you use? i found taking photos at silverstone very difficult, high fences, too far away from track etc. unless you can get a photographers pass of course which i was lucky enough to get once at a Drifting event.
number 8 for me too _________________ happy 50th birthday - motown records |

Thanks. I used my Canon EF 75-300mm for all these shots I think.
I paid the extra £5 to get in the stands and sat about halfway up but yeah the fences were a PITA!!!!!!!!
Would have loved a photographers pass there. |

personally, i prefer autosport shots from lower down - to me sports photography is about getting the viewer right into the thick of the action, making them feel like they're part of it.
these shots document what went on, but to me there's no real sense of involvement, if you know what i mean _________________ There is nothing in life that cannot be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas

I know exactly what you mean. I wish I could have gotten closer to the track but Silverstone is a nightmare to get next to without a photographers pass.
Good point though and something too remember for next time. |

I think 1-6 & 8 are fine, but the panning shots add a sense of speed which gives a little something to the shots. Nice panning btw.
