been an exciting week - arranged myself a new motorbike yesterday after   8 1/2 years out of the saddle, and then got home to find confirmation of press accreditation for both of us for Bramham Horse Trials in the letterbox!

It's a Suzuki V-Strom 650 GT (in black)  - old man's bike according to some but my wrists, back and knees can't do racebikes these days, as much as I love them Smile

I'm picking it up on the 12th and will be my first moby since 2000, can't wait!

yeah, similar sort of bike Smile are you thinking of getting a transalp in addition to the goldwing?

next project for me (after sorting our kitchen) is to build a lean-to so the bike has a home Smile

Goldwing wasn't mine - unfortunately as Teresa loved it, but at £28K was a shade on the expensive side.
