few shots straight out of new camera.......

Playing with balancing the sun, using the 580exii flash


loving the full frame capabilities.... a REAL 24mm!


DoF using the 24-105L glass @ f4.0


Photobucket does some nasty things during compression, but feel free to comment at will!

that first one is a tricky test - not sure the balance is perfect but i've found it takes a lot of mucking about to get a decent fill every time you go for it (not that i've really got there yet)

Totally agree Jon - it certainly is not anywhere near balanced.  Damn sight closer than with using ETTL though  Rolling Eyes

It was a bare flash too which didn't help my situation!
