took this the other day which seem to fit that...

Hull of a boat?
I say that because of the apparent curvature of the boards and the assorted patches.

Love the colours and pattern/repetition as well as the angle of the shot. Nice touch making the black area level with the bottom of the picture.

My friends are mad at me because I always see through their April Fools day jokes and I spoil them - I guess it's the engineer in me Smilie_PDT
